for me, i played alot of initial d, mostly version 3. after pretty much mastering the game and running out of ppl to vs, i started to move onto other things and now im here. how bout you guys?

It all started with Street Fighter 1 for me. I used to stand on a chair and hit those oversized punch and kick buttons. I've been a fan ever since

Street Fighter 2 on SNES. I would often watch my cousins play and when one of them lost, I'd snatch the controller and proceed to get beat.

I used to think they were gods at SF. Lol. Doing Piledrivers and 2hit combos.

I am eternally in their debt for introducing me to SF. <3

I got into SF thanks to my best friend getting Street Fighter 2 for SNES on his BDay! His dad used to own us.... but we were freakin' single digit at the time. I should go back and rape him in those games as pay back...

Fighting Street for TurboGrafx... *shiver* let us never speak of that again! Thankfully more memories of SF2 on SNES than the former.

I was about 7 years old. Sf2 on SNES for me. My older brother who was 13 at the time would demolish me. I can say this. He taught me well. He plays sf4 as much as i do and he cant beat me now. hahaahahahahaha

My next door neighbor got SF2 on SNES. Spent everday over there getting killed by his Guile. I used E.Honda back then. I had a Genesis to I had to wait till SF Special CE came out to have my own.

It seems I'm the old man here. I was in college when SFII came out. My university, University of New Orleans, had an arcade cabinet on the campus. After being destroyed by other players who would not share the secrets to hadoukens or shoryukens, I started getting to school at 7am in order to have the machine to myself and to learn the game.
